The terms a general contractor reads first, stated before anything else on this page asks you for a project detail.
Final milestone is AHJ inspection, not utility PTO
We will not hold your closeout against a date neither of us controls. Submitting and chasing the interconnection is our job. Permission to Operate is the utility’s clock, and it does not sit between you and your final.

Payment on a schedule of values
Three milestones: materials delivered to site, substantial completion, and final AHJ inspection. Invoiced against the schedule of values, not against a calendar.

Retention per Civil Code §§ 8810–8822
Retention is withheld and released on the statutory schedule. We do not ask for retention terms outside the code.

Licensed, bonded and insured
CSLB #1088598. Commercial general liability in force at $1,000,000 each occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate, with a $2,000,000 products–completed operations aggregate. Additional insured endorsement and waiver of subrogation are available and issued before we mobilise.

Covering our field work and every roof penetration we make. Equipment carries its own manufacturer warranty.

You send the plan set and the permit number
The PV pages, the CF-1R, and the permit number. That is enough for us to price the work and confirm we can install to the sizing already on the plans.

We confirm a mobilisation window in writing
Against your roof-dry date and your inspection target, before contract. If your schedule moves, the window is re-confirmed rather than assumed.

We permit, install and inspect on our own ticket
Our trade permit, our inspection appointment, our corrections. Your superintendent gets a date, not a coordination task.

Closeout package lands with the CF-2R
As-builts, warranties, the signed CF-2R and the inspection sign-off in one handover, so your compliance file closes without a chase.

We do, as the installing contractor. The CF-1R Certificate of Compliance stays with your energy consultant and the CF-3R field verification stays with your HERS rater. We do not take over the compliance model or the rating.
